Our Core Initiatives
Empowering change for a brighter tomorrow
Community
Outreach
We believe in the power of connection. Our outreach efforts focus on building relationships with fellow veterans, local organizations, and the broader community to create lasting impact. From hosting support events and wellness workshops to volunteering and mentoring, we show up — for each other and for those who need us most.
Whether it’s lending a hand, sharing a story, or sparking change, our mission extends beyond ourselves — it’s about lifting up the entire community.
Support System For Other Females
No one understands the journey like those who’ve walked it. We provide a strong, compassionate support system where female veterans can connect, share, and heal together. Whether it's navigating life after service, managing mental health, or simply having someone to talk to — we’re here.
Through peer mentorship, group sessions, and one-on-one support, we create a space where every woman veteran feels seen, heard, and valued
Health &
Wellness
Your well-being matters — mind, body, and spirit. Our Health & Wellness programs are designed to help women veterans prioritize self-care, build resilience, and live healthier, more balanced lives.
Volunteer & Giving Back
Service doesn’t stop when the uniform comes off. Giving back is at the heart of who we are. Whether it’s mentoring fellow veterans, supporting local events, or lending a hand to those in need, our volunteers help us make a real difference.
There are many ways to get involved — and every act of service, big or small, creates a ripple of impact in our community.

Connecting Hearts and Helping Hands
Building a better future through compassion
“We are a group of female veterans from Laredo. We started this organization to help out the community and be in events, as we were just at the Clean Air 5k,” Salinas said. “We want to have a support system for other females within Laredo and the surrounding areas, as leaving the military we know is a difficult time as coming home is not the same. It is not the same place that you left and nothing is the same for what you have been living for several years (after service).”
